"The Little Humpbacked Horse" was staged with string puppets, with which the Central Puppet Theater generally worked little, preferring hand puppets. But in this plot, the puppets were especially appropriate, since, suspended on strings, those puppets could fly well and create an expressive picture of an underwater kingdom with swimming fish, etc.
